Vancouver - Spectacular by Nature SAMPLE ITINERARY
This tour is fully customizable and can change in routing on a moments notice to accommodate your desires or time frame while en route. This itinerary will give you an idea of what can be included on a typical tour. At any time en route you can have the opportunity to stop for photos or some exploring by foot. Gourmet boxed lunches and a gourmet picnic lunch can be arranged and set up in any one of a number of spectacular locations within the area and all that lies in between. Please call for unique picnic locations or we can leave it up to you on the day depending on the weather and your tour.
| SAMPLE ITINERARY: Assuming a 3 hour tour | You decide when to start the tour. Add time by the hour for options. This is a private tour. | | 00:00 | - Pick up from a Downtown Hotel
- Tour begins at the Art Gallery and heads east along Georgia Street
- With full commentary that will adjust to suit the guests interests the tour continues into Chinatown.
- Optional: stop to visit Dr. Sun Yat Sen Gardens
- On to Japantown and then Gastown.
| | 00:30 | - Gastown and continue along the Waterfront by Canada Place and the Cruise Ship terminals, left on Burrard past the historic Marine Building and on to Robson Street.
- Optional: shopping or a stroll along Robson Street and/or a visit to the Vancouver Art Gallery
- Heading west along Robson the tour continues to Bute, a right turn on Bute, past the hand blown flowers of Dale Chihuly before turning left on Georgia Street and on to Coal Harbour and in to Stanley Park.
- Optional: stop at the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre
| | 01:00 | - Stop at the Stanley Park Totem Poles for a stretch of the legs, a photo opportunity and a possible restroom break
- Optional: head over to the North Shore to see the Capilano Fish Hatchery, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, Grouse Mountain and/or a tour of the British Properties. Also an exciting high speed Sea Safari is available from Horseshoe Bay. A scenic helicopter flight can be added from the top of Grouse Mountain and can be adjusted to land at the inner harbour heliport to rendezvous again with their guide if desired.
- Optional: given a full day guests can choose to explore Sea to Sky Country and visit Shannon Falls.
- Continue around Stanley Park, with optional stops at Prospect Point and the Hollow Tree. English Bay and over the Burrard Street Bridge.
- Optional: head west through Kitsilano and Jericho beach areas to Point Grey, the University of British Columbia, the Museum of Anthropology and the Nitobe Japanese Gardens
| | 01:30 | - Continue to Granville Island along the shores of False Creek. Time to explore the island, its art, culture, unique shops and the farmer's market.
| | 02:00 | - Leave Granville Island and continue south on Granville Street to explore the Granville Rise area and a quick tour around the old estates of Shaughnessy heights.
- Note: if only a two hour tour, guests would have had less stops along the way and leave Granville Island by 09:40 to head back to their final destination via the Cambie Street Bridge and Yaletown.
- Optional: given a full day guests can choose to head out to Steveston Historic Fishing Village in south Richmond to explore and/or go whale watching.
- Optional: Visit Queen Elizabeth Park and Botanical Gardens and/or the Bloedel Floral Conservatory
