City Tour with a Splash

 

ImageBegin with a 1.5 hour ground tour including: Chinatown, Gastown, the Waterfront, Robson Street, 1/2 of Stanley Park and the wealthiest neighborhood in Canada, West Vancouver.  Enjoy a scenic drive to Horseshoe bay.  ImageOnce there, take to the water for an exhilarating 1.5 hour sea safari through Howe Sound fiord in search of marine life, Bald Eagles, coastal birds and breathtaking scenery.  Your tour continues with a 1.5 hour exploration of the North Shore, the second 1/2 of Stanley Park and Granville Island if time permits.

 

If on a private tour, extend your time on the North Shore by choosing to visit Grouse Mountain, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Capilano Hatchery or Edgemont Village.  You may also choose to extend your experience by exploring Granville Island, a reclaimed industrial district complete with a fresh food market, unique gift shops and local artisan boutiques. Complete your Granville Island experience with a 30-minute tour of the Granville Island Brewery, the pioneer of micro-breweries in Canada. Call for more details.

Enhance any Vancouver City sightseeing or Whistler experience with a scenic adventure to Howe Sound fiord to a private viewing deck nestled over 1865 feet above Howe Sound. Explore the Sea to Sky corridor and discover Shannon Falls, Garibaldi Volcano and the Tantalus glacier range. The deck offers an incredible view overlooking Howe Sound, Vancouver Island and the sunset on a clear day. Private and remote, just relax and soak up nature.  Warning: you may not want to leave.

Combine the beauty of Vancouver with spectacular nature as you enjoy a private tour of the City and the Sea to Sky corridor. Your adventure guide will customize a tour to suit your interest and desires.

 

Along the way, visit our private viewing deck nestled 1865 feet above sea level in the mountains overlooking Howe Sound fiord. The deck offers incredible views overlooking Howe Sound and over to Vancouver Island on a clear day, sunsets every evening and a private and remote place to relax and soak up nature.  Here enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch. Lunches must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance.

Customize this tour to extend the touring time, extend the time on the deck, add a sea safari or a helicopter return to Vancouver for an additional charge. Call for a quote.

On this fully guided day tour, you’ll discover the majesty of the aptly named Sea to Sky corridor. You will visit Stanley Park, Cypress Mountain, Porteau Cove and the magnificent Shannon Falls, before boarding a helicopter north of Squamish.

 

ImageDuring your aerial tour, high above the Garibaldi Volcanic complex, weather permitting observe Black Tusk and Table Mountains, Garibaldi Lake, the Barrier and numerous glaciers, as you learn about the forces of nature that conspired to create them. Back on the ground, your experienced guide will lead you off the beaten path as your luxury 4x4 takes you high into the mountains. A private viewing deck (1865 feet above sea level) will afford astonishing views as you indulge in a delicious gourmet picnic from a perch overlooking Howe Sound. Alternatively, this tour may begin and/or end in Whistler.

 

This tour can be extended into a two-day tour with an overnight in Whistler and extra time to explore the village.  Return via floatplane or high speed sea safari with pick up on the beach below the viewing deck for an additional charge.

Cancellations within 7 days of the tour date are at full charge unless it is a change or there are additions with more than 72 hours notice, then there is no charge.  No charge for cancellations more than 7 days prior to the tour date.
